Very useful, and not to mention well designed.
A simple 10112 bytes web app to display color shades. Enter the hex code or use the canvas color wheel! Perfect for sharing your favorite colors (the URL reflects the #selected_one) Mobile version also available thanks to Media Queries.
Very useful, and not to mention well designed.
That's a pretty looking app! Could you please share an unminified code of your app? I'm particularly interested in canvas color picker that you're using.
A genuinely useful app for web designers. Hope you put it online in its own site or just page even.
Nice app, using it for a project right this second, thanks!
Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you liked the app. @Dr. John, @Nikita Vasilyev we'll put a non minified version online :)
Great app! So simple but so useful :D
This is so great! I'm going to use this when I need colors on the fly! Photoshop be damned!
Excelente aplicación, para uso multidisciplinario
Lovely design, easy to use and useful. Nice one guys. Glad to see some useful, not just fun, apps in the 10k challenge.
Thanks Paul, our idea was to create something useful in less than 10k!
This seems very similar to Shaun Chapman's 0-255. http://0to255.com/5eb9cb
@Ryan Ludwig Yes, indeed. We wanted to know if we could make something similar in javascript only. Plus, ours has that canvas-based color wheel (and in less than 10k ;) )
I don't get what "Show me the colors!" button meant to do...
@Kelvin we tested it in Firefox 3.6.6 :)
Great app, have found this very useful and much quicker than starting up Photoshop
That’s the concept behind this here 10K Apart contest, the love child of MIX Online and An Event Apart.
