A simple time tracking application, which uses localStorage to save your records. Just type what you're about to do and hit Start. Resume your records once you've stopped them.

Cool, but it would be more useful if you could track multiple tasks at once.

Considering my work pattern and the fact that I have to log my hours in another console app that doesn't actually provide task tracking, this is about the simplest and most useful time management tool I've found!

Well the basic thought was to track what you're doing right now, which usually is one thing at a time :) But it would be one possibility to extend the functionality of the app. Why not.

Very slick! Would love to see this evolve into a full-scale time management app...

@rlowson: Thanks, it fits into my work pattern well too. @Kris Noble: Hehe, me too, I'd love to stick with the very simple UI though. Quite a challange then I guess

@Peter Minarik: consider this: you are working on feature X then a co-worker stops bay and interrupts you for 5 minutes. You are technically still working on feature X but would still like to record how much time you spend talking to your co-workers. There are numerous other cases like this ....

That's dope - I mean really. The addictive part is that it saves up all of your times, and you can go back and resume. Very cool concept just as an app idea - AMAZING for one under 10k.

This is slick, simple and one of the most beautiful time-tracking apps I've ever seen. Thank you for this contribution!

Thank you all for the good feedback! @yefrem: I thought about that, changing the whole counting mechanism so it would pick up running when the tab or browser was closed and reopened. That would be very cool indeed.

It's awesome! I had the same idea for this contest. May be you can find some space for export (or backup) feature? May be in JSON format or just plain text, pipe delimited?

An Export feature sounds good, someone else also proposed that to me. The features are pilling up :)

What could you build with only 10 kilobytes of code?

That’s the concept behind this here 10K Apart contest, the love child of MIX Online and An Event Apart.
